[Anseong Baudeogi Festival 2019]
We invite you to the marvelous scene of the Traditional Korean acrobatics!
What is this festival about?
Anseong is the birthplace of Namsadang (Korean itinerant performing troupe of Joseon Dynasty). Although only men were eligible to join the troupe, there was a legendary girl called 'Baudeogi' who contributed significantly from her role as a leader of the troupe.
Anseong hosts 'Baudeogi Festival' every year in her honor.
• DATE : October 2nd (Wednesday) or October 3rd (Thursday, national holiday)
• VENU : Anseong, Gyeonggi Province
• ENTRY FEE : FREE (Two meals, snacks, transportation, travel insurance, free admissions for activities are included)
• PARTICIPANTS : 40 foreign nationals (Oct 2) & 80 (Oct 3)

- Learning Baudeogi flashmob dance (basic level) & performing at the festival
- Learning basic tightrope and making a traditional Korean mask
- Watching the traditional dance parade of 10 countries.
- Enjoying free time at the festival venue.
