SNU GSIS BK21 FOUR Program hosts various events inviting prominent figures to deliver distinguished lectures with our Special Lecture Series.

For our twenty first session, we are inviting Matthew Goodman, Senior Vice President from Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS).

He will talk on the theme of "US Economic Statecraft at a Time of Rising Global Risk."

Please refer to below for further details:

*Abstract:

Mr. Goodman will speak about the changing economic landscape and major geoeconomic risks such as slowing growth, debt distress, rising inflation, supply chain security and disruptions, and well as tensions between the United States and China. He will then dive into how the United States is adapting its international economic policies to address such risk. CSIS Senior Vice President Matthew Goodman, a former U.S. official at the White House and Treasury, will offer thoughts on these developments and welcome reactions and insights from SNU students.

The session is open to all SNU GSIS students, but participation is strongly encouraged for BK fellows.

(Due to the limited seats for the event, attendance is not mandatory but will be highly recognized for next semester's selection.)
