      On September 24th, 2015, the ambassador from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hyun Cho  gave a lecture to the students in the FTA Commerce and Strategy program on ‘Evaluation on Korea-US`s Nuclear Energy Cooperation Agreement Negotiation.’ Nuclear power is the enormous source of the global governance, and Amb. Cho explained the background knowledge of the nuclear regime with the three concepts:  Nuclear security, nuclear safety and nuclear safeguard.  According to his lecture, nuclear power has diverse potential not only for nuclear weapon, but also for cancer treatment, marine ecosystem investigation and electricity production.  He explained the Korea-US negotiating situation compared with the two positions. There were three main assignments as the negotiating representative of Korea-US negotiation. The academia, nuclear industry and the media.  He emphasized that through the whole procedure of negotiation, the activities outside the negotiation are truly influential. And he evaluated that the negotiation would be the another important pillar of Korea- US cooperation
