Chulalongkorn University's Faculty & Staff Visit SNU-GSIS

The Graduate School of International Studies, true to its specialization, has many partner universities around the globe. One prominent partner among many is the Chulalongkorn University of Thailand. SNU-GSIS has welcomed exchange students and Chulalongkorn alumni each earn and so far, around 80 students from Chulalongkorn have studied in SNU. On November 5, the partnership between the two partner universities strengthened once more, as the staff from Chulalongkorn visited Seoul and SNU-GSIS.

A total of 50 delegates visited, including four faculty members and the entire staff members from the graduate program in the university. The delegates first participated in an information session held in the International Conference Hall. Dean Hwy-Chang Moon greeted them with a welcoming speech which was followed by a presentation given by GSIS Professors Tae-Gyun Park and Ki-Soo Eun. The two professors offered a detailed introduction on SNU-GSIS. The staff from Chulalongkorn also had an opportunity to go on a brief tour of the GSIS campus.

Through this fruitful visit, SNU-GSIS and Chulalongkorn University reaffirmed their amicable partnership. More students from both schools are expected to take part in the other’s academic programs in the future.
