The End of the Semester Party, 2012

GSIS held its End of Semester Party on Thursday, June 14.
After opening remarks by Associate Dean for Int'l affiars Ahn, students were treated
to a various performances by students of GSIS. Just like the last one, a special performance
by Mutanmi, a performance group made up of  American Area Studies students,
which was created to introduce popular Latin American classics and bring attention to Latin America.
A surprising performance by Professor Chong-Sup Kim heightened the festive mood of the party.

The newly elected student council members were warmly welcomed and the previous members also
received applause for they work over the last two semesters.

After the closing address by Dean Paik, students were joined by professors for a free buffet dinner
at Sochon Hall. Then it was off to Redrock in Naksungdae for the Second Round,
with Associate Dean for Int'l affairs Ahn in attendance, where students celebrated the end of finals
week and the end of another semester over food and drinks.
