On Septerber 17th, GSIS Career Development Center (Advisor: Professor Lee, Jeon-Kap)
has held a career mentoring session for Korean firms. For this session, GSIS alumni
were invited. Dabin Kwon (LG Display), Jahye Park (Hyundai Motors), and
Jooyeon Hong (KT) shared their experience not only of hiring measures but also of working
environments. Especially, they talked about their personal stories to set future plans.
Many GSIS students felt free to share their problems and raise questions.
They were able to receive professional advice that would help students to pursue related jobs
in the future. International students also joined this session and show high interest in Korean firms.
We expect more attention and participation of GSIS students in subsequent
Career Development Center career mentoring sessions.
