On May 19th, GSIS Career Development Center (Advisor: professor Lee, Jeon-Kap)
has held a career mentoring session for public enterprises and national research
institutions. Both Shim, Yong-Joo (SNU GSIS graduate) who previously worked at
KSURE: Korea Trade Insurance Corporation and Lee, Eun-Suk (SNU GSIS Ph. D candidate)
who previously worked as a researcher for KOPEC shared their knowledge not only of
particular business in general but also of finding jobs in certain fields. Many GSIS students
freely raised questions and were able to receive professional advice that would help
students to pursue related jobs in the future. Also, last semester
s International
Commerce representative Lee, Jee-Hye supported an interview session with Standard
Chartered Bank on May 27th. This session was solely targeted to SNU MBA and
GSIS students to introduce the International Graduate Program and to consult
with current workers. We expect high attention and participation of GSIS students
in subsequent Career Development Center career mentoring sessions.
