Yoon Ah Oh is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS), Seoul National University. She is a specialist on Southeast Asian political economy and studies the intersection of political conditions and economic development in the region. She is also interested in Southeast Asia’s regional integration and its external relations, particularly involving China and South Korea. Before joining GSIS in 2019, Professor Oh was a fellow at the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP), where she researched Southeast Asian economies and Korea-ASEAN economic relations. Professor Oh received her Ph.D. in Political Science from the Ohio State University and her M.A. and B.A. degrees in Political Science from the National University of Singapore and Seoul National University.
