1. 지원목적
- 아시아연구소는 아시아 관련 지역 및 통합주제에 관한 우수 석사학위논문과 박사학위 논문을 선정하여 수상함으로써 신진연구자의 아시아 연구를 활성화하고자 함.
1. Purpose
- SNUAC intends to promote Asian research by awarding prizes to distinguised master's and doctorate thesis on Asia-related regions and integrated subjects
2. 지원 자격 및 내용
(1) 지원 자격
- 국내대학 및 연구기관에서 아시아관련 지역과 통합 주제를 대상으로 작성한 석사학위 및 박사학위논문(한국학 제외)
- 최근 2년 이내에 제출된 학위논문, (2021년 8월 졸업예정자 포함).
(2) 지원 내용:
- 석사학위논문 및 박사학위논문 각각 2편 선정
- 우수논문상 1편당 석사학위논문 100만원, 박사학위논문 300만원 상금 수여
- 박사논문을 단행본으로 출판할 경우 출판지원
2. Eligibility and Content for Support
(1) Eligibility to apply
- Master's and doctoral thesis (excluding Korean studies) on Asian regions and integrated themes.prepared by domestic universities and research institutes
- Degree papers submitted within the last two years, including those to graduate on August 2021
(2) Support:
- Nominees: 2 master's dissertations, 2 doctoral dissertations
- Prize money of 1 million won for master's degree thesis and 3 million won for doctoral thesis
- Support for publication when a doctoral thesis is published as a published copy
3. 신청 및 심사
(1) 신청 기간: 2021년 7월 12일(월) ~ 2021년 8월 13일(금) 23시 59분까지
(2) 심사 기간: 서울대 아시아연구소 연구위원회가 총 2단계 (1단계 적합성 심사/ 2단계 전문가 심사) 심사과정을 통해 선정함.
(3) 선정자 발표 : 2021년 11월 중순 예정
(4) 논문상시상식 : 2021년 11월 말 이후 예정
3. Application and Examination
(1) Application period: 12 July 2021 (Monday) to 13 August 2021 (Friday) 23:59 PM
(2) Examination period: 2 examination stages by SNUAC Research Committee (Stage 1 suitability examination/Stage 2 expert examination)
(3) Announcement: scheduled on mid-November 2021.
(4) Award Ceremony: Scheduled after the end of November 2021.
