Course Registration for 2021 Summer Session

1. Subject
: Current students, Students who are taking a leave of absence, Exchange or visting students who were admitted to SNU

2. Schedule

3. Course Registration
1) Maximum credits for registration: 9 credits
2) At: http://sugang.snu.ac.kr (same as the regular semester)

3) Course registration procedure has been changed from 2020 winter session.

① Day 1~2: Get courses you want into the cart.

② Day 3

- If a course has more than its maximum number of students: Registration is not confirmed and goes to competitive registration phase.

- If a course has same or less number of its its maximum number of students: Registration is confirmed.

③ Day 4~6: You can change your course list.

※ You can participate in competitive registration only when you had the course in your cart. The registration is on a first-come-first-served basis.

4) Course Withdrawal

① Before the course starts(Jun. 14 ~ 21): Withdraw the course on-line : Log on at MYSNU → Academic Affairs → Class/Grade → Class → Course Drop (Summer/Summer Session)
 ② After the course starts(Jun. 22 ~ Jul. 12.): Withdraw the course on-line (same as above) → Approval from the professor(Online)

4. Tuition Fee
- Theory courses(3-3-0): 40,500 KRW per credit
- Practical courses(3-2-2): 45,500 KRW per credit
(There would be surcharge on lessons which use an outside facility such as bowling, swimming, etc.)

5. Tuition Bill Printing and Payment
1) Period: (1st) May. 26(W) ~ 31(M), (2nd, Final) Jun. 3(Th) ~ Jun. 4(F) (excluding weekends)
2) Bank: Any bank (Payment at the bank counter: 09:00 ~ 16:00, Virtual account payment: 09:00 ~ 17:00)
3) Bill Printing: Log on at MYSNU → Academic Affairs → Tuition → Billing Info → Summer/Summer Session Tuition Bill

6. Announcement of Course Cancellation
1) 1st Cancellation Announcement: May. 14(F), 2nd Cancellation Announcement: Jun. 7(M)
2) If the courses you signed up were cancelled, ① get a refund or ② change them into other courses which provide same amount of credits.
  - How to change the courses

* 1st Cancellation Courses: Change them yourselves during Course Change Period. (9:00 ~ 18:00, May. 17 ~ May. 20)

* 2nd Cancellation Courses: Apply for ’Quota exceeding Course Registration Request’ in sugang site – Approval by the professor
※ You need to register your bank account information to receive a refund on the tuition.
(MYSNU→ Academic Affairs → My Info → Student Info → Modify Personal Info → Type in a bank account under the Personal Info)

2021학년도 하계 계절학기 수강신청 안내

1. 수강자격
: 본교 재학생 및 휴학생, 국내·외 타교생 중 학점교류 승인을 받은 학생
※ 2021년 1학기를 등록한 2021년도 8월 졸업예정자만 하계 계절수업 수강 후 8월 졸업 가능, 휴학 중 계절수업 수강으로 졸업요건 충족되어도 졸업 불가

※ 군 복무 중인 경우 복무 기관에 수강 가능 여부 확인 후 수강신청 요망, 병역법 또는 군 복무 기관이 관련법에 따라 수강(학점취득) 불가할 수 있음.

3. 수강신청
1) 신청가능 학점수: 최대 9학점(국내 타교 학점교류 포함)
2) 방법: 수강신청 사이트(http://sugang.snu.ac.kr)에 로그인하여 강좌검색 후 원하는 과목을 직접 수강신청. 2020 동계 계절학기부터 수강신청 방식이 전면적으로 개편되므로 수강신청 홈페이지에 탑재된 매뉴얼을 반드시 참고
3) 수강신청 취소 ※ 개강 1주일 전부터 수강취소 가능
 ① 개강 이전(2021. 6. 14.~ 6. 21.) : 학사정보 → 수업/성적 → 수업 → ‘계절학기 수강취소/환불’ 메뉴에서 직접 수강신청 취소 요청 (※ 담당교수 서명 불필요)
 ③ 개강 이후(2021. 6. 22.~ 7. 12.) : 학사정보 → 수업/성적 → 수업 → ‘계절학기 수강취소/환불’ 메뉴에서 직접 수강신청 취소 요청 → 담당교원 온라인 승인

4. 수업료
- 이론 과목: 1학점당 40,500원
- 실험/실습/실기 과목: 1학점당 45,500원
※ 볼링, 수영 등 외부시설을 이용한 수업은 장소 사용요금을 별도 부담할 수 있음

5. 고지서 출력 및 수강료 납부
1) 기간 : (1차) 2021. 5. 26.(수) ~ 5. 31.(월), (2차) 2021. 6. 3.(목) ~ 6. 4.(금)
2) 수납은행 : 전 은행(창구납부 9:00~16:00, 가상계좌납부 9:00~17:00)
3) 고지서 출력 : 포털 mySNU → 학사정보 → 등록 → 고지서/내역조회 → 계절학기고지서

6. 폐강 관련
1) 공지일시 : (1차) 2021. 5. 14.(금), (2차) 2021. 6. 7.(월)
2) 폐강된 교과목을 수강신청한 경우 전액 환불 또는 동일 수업료에 해당하는 타 교과목으로 변경 가능
 - 환불 : 포털 mySNU → 학사정보 → 나의정보 → 종합정보 → 개인정보수정에 입력된 계좌번호로 자동 환불
   ※ 계좌번호 반드시 입력 요망
 - 변경 : 1차 폐강과목은 수강신청 변경 기간에 인터넷으로 직접 변경, 2차 폐강과목은 수강신청 사이트에서 정원 외 신청 – 담당교원 승인 – 수강 확정
