국제대학원 BK(Brain Korea) 21 사업단에서 알립니다.
2021년 1학기 GSIS BK21 사업에 참여할 대학원생들의 신청을 받습니다.
우리 대학원은 2020년 9월부터 한국연구재단의 지원을 받아 <신국가전략을 위한 다학제적 국제지역?개발 전문인력 양성 사업>이라는 주제로 4단계 BK21 사업을 시작하게 되었습니다. BK21사업은 전일제 대학원생이 학업에 전념하여 훌륭한 연구성과를 내고 사회에 기여할 수 있는 인재가 될 수 있도록 후원하는 대학원생 연구지원사업입니다.
4대 보험에 가입되어 있지 않은 전일제 대학원생(석사과정 4학기 이내, 박사과정 8학기 이내)은 모두 참여 자격이 있습니다.
- 외국 국적 학생은 D-2 비자가 명기된 유효 외국인등록증 소지
이 사업에 참여하면, 각종 학술활동-해외현지조사, 국내외 학술행사 참여, 참여교수와의 국내외 공동연구 프로젝트 참여 등-을 할 때 지원을 받을 수 있습니다.
또한, 참여 신청을 한 대학원생 중 일부는 매 학기 연구계획서와 성적 등에 대한 일정한 심사를 거쳐, 매월 일정액의 장학금(석사과정 70만원, 박사과정 130만원, 박사수료 100만원 기준)을 지원받을 수 있습니다.
4단계 BK21사업의 참여대학원생은 사업 기간 중 사업단에서 운영하는 각종 학술행사와 프로그램에 적극적으로 참여하고 연구 활동을 충실히 수행할 의무가 있습니다.
국제대학원의 4단계 BK21 사업에 관심이 있는 전일제 대학원생들의 적극적인 지원 바랍니다.
GSIS BK21사업에 참여할 의사가 있는 전일제 대학원생은 아래 서류를 이메일로 2021년 1월 15일 12:00 PM (KST)까지 제출해주시길 바랍니다 (제출처: 박혜진 선생님 z026269@snu.ac.kr). 추후 3,4월 제출서류 요구 시 자격조건이 안되는 분들은 탈락할 수 있습니다. (ex)직장가입자, D-2이외의 비자 등)

We are accepting applications from graduate students who wish to participate in the BK (Brain Korea) 21 FOUR program of the 2021 Spring Semester.
Funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea, SNU GSIS has launched its BK (Brain Korea) 21 FOUR program in September 2020, with the agenda of “Cultivating the Next Generation of Academic Leaders in Interdisciplinary Studies of International Area and Development Cooperation for a New National Strategy”. The BK21 FOUR program intends to support graduate students who are dedicated to full-time research and study, with an aim to foster talents who can contribute to the society.
All full-time graduate students (within 4 semesters for Master’s; within 8 semesters for Doctoral students) are eligible for application:
- Korean nationality: Those without 4 Major Social Insurance Scheme (SIS) coverage
- Foreign nationality: Those who possess a valid Alien Registration Card with an indication of D-2 visa
As a participant of the BK21 Four Program, students can receive support for various academic activities such as overseas fieldwork, academic conferences, and joint research projects with professors at GSIS.
In addition, after screening your research proposal and transcript, selected applicants may receive a monthly stipend amounting to 700,000 KRW for master-course students, 1,300,000 KRW for doctoral students, and 1,000,000 KRW for doctoral candidates.
Participating graduate students of the BK21 FOUR Program will be obligated to dedicate themselves to research and study, as well as actively participate in academic events, and make efforts to support tasks of the program team.

To apply, please submit below items to Ms. Hyejin Park (z026269@snu.ac.kr) by 15 January 2021, 12:00 PM (KST). Please note that acceptance may be nullified upon additional document submissions during March ~ April 2021 (ex - employee health insurance subscribers, visas other than D-2, etc.).
