Policy and Guideline for Non-face-to-face online classes (온라인 강의 관련 안내 사항)

The following are policies and guidelines provided by SNU, for students who are taking non-face-to-face online classes.
1. Copyrights violation
- In case of using third party resources for online classes, please be sure to disclose references to avoid copyright violation.
- Copy, download, transfer or distribution of class materials to third parties, without consent, is prohibited. (subject to copyright and personality right infringement)
- Recording real-time online classes (Zoom classes) using certain devices is prohibited. (subject to copyright and personality right infringement)
2. Taking online classes
- When taking online classes, downloading and watching video clips using certain programs will not be counted as attendance (unable to check attendance)
- When taking online classes, course credits will not be recognized if certain programs are used to manipulate speed, in order to check attendance without watching the video clip. Students will need to retake the class.
3. Human Rights violation
- Use of abusive language, hate speech or other forms of expression that violates Human rights, when participating in class group chats or discussions, is prohibited.
4. Others
- When connecting directly to Zoom (without using eTL), please be sure to use ‘Name-Student ID’ as your user name instead of using nicknames, so that attendance can be properly checked.
- When turning in surveys for class attendance, please be sure to write your name and student ID.
