2020 KOICA-SNU GSIS Master's Degree Program in Gender and Development

Official Notice
2020-03-17

Greeting from Development Cooperation Policy Program (DCPP) office at Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS), Seoul National University (SNU).

Since 2008, SNU GSIS has, in cooperation with Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), facilitated a master’s program that competitively selects government officials from developing nations and equips them with expert knowledge on international development.

Starting this year, GSIS will provide in-depth education on Gender and Development to its students. Gender equality is a goal shared worldwide; as one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), gender equality must be achieved for a truly sustainable development. Despite its importance, however, development sites fail to fully strive towards achieving the SDG. Therefore, SNU GSIS strives to provide a multidisciplinary master’s degree program in Gender and Development for government officials from our partner-countries.
