1. Program Objective
The scholarship program is designed to provide higher education in Korea for descendants of UN Korean War Veterans in order to recompense the sacrifices made by those Korean War veterans of UN allied nations and to strengthen friendship with those nations.

6. Duration of Scholarship
o Bachelor’s
a. First year student admission: 4 yrs. (Mar.13, 2019 ~ Feb.20, 2023) - 4 yrs. of undergraduate study
b. Transfer admission: 3~4 yrs. (Mar.13, 2019 ~ Feb.20, 2021 or 2022) – 2~3 yrs. of undergraduate study
o Master’s : 2 yrs. (Mar.13, 2019 ~ Feb.20, 2021) - 2 yrs. of Master’s study
o Doctoral : 2 yrs. (Mar.13, 2019 ~ Feb.20, 2021) - 2 yrs of Doctoral study
7. Scholarship Benefits
o Scholarship Period : same as the period of invitation
o Payment
- Tuition : The admission fee and tuition fees will be paid by SNU
※ Students should get a cumulative grade point average (G.P.A) of at least 3.0 on a 4.3 scale after they start their degree program at SNU to get their tuition scholarship
- Monthly Allowance: The MPVA or KWMF monthly allowance will be given to students from USA, Colombia, Ethiopia, Greece, India, Philippines, Republic of South Africa, Thailand and Turkey.
