1. Qualifications
- An applicant must be a candidate for the PhD who is taking coursework and is enrolled for at least 9 credits.
- In principle, those who have just returned after taking leave of absence are NOT qualified.
- In principle, those who are in the first semester, or who have registered more than 4 semesters are NOT qualified.
2. Application
Applicants should submit the application form to the GSIS Administrative Office before the deadline.
After this announcement, there will not be a specific scholarship announcement for the PhD program.
All applicants must apply within the regular scholarship application period*.
(* Usual application period: late May ~ early June and late November ~ early December.)
3. Screening and Selection Processes
The GSIS scholarship committee will review the application form and announce scholarship recipients each semester. Announcement of awards will be after late August and late February, respectively.
4. Scholarship
The GSIS scholarship will be decided on the basis of the following conditions:
- Outside scholarships
- Financial aid status
- Grade
