The 35th International Development Policy Seminar

The 35^th International Development Policy Seminar was held on Thursday, October 26^th at the GSIS International Conference Room. The lecture entitled, “Transition and Unification: Human Capital in the Unification of the Two Koreas,” was presented by Professor Byung-Yeon Kim, a current professor at the Department of Economics,  Seoul National University. The lecture was attended by the 9^th and 10^th batch of DCPP students, Professor Hyeok Jeong, and 20 graduate students from different departments. The students were able to familiarize themselves with the unification process of Germany and examine the possibility of unification of the two Koreas. The Q&A session was full of debate over the possibility of unification and the possible implications for the Korean peninsula.
