[주한 유럽연합 (EU) 대표부는 오는 5월 25일(목) ~ 5월 26일 (금) / 이틀간 한국외국어대학교에서 모의유럽연합 대회를개최합니다. 모의유럽연합은 전국 대학(원)생들이 유럽연합의 주요 의제에 대해 토론을 펼치는 대회입니다. 2023년 모의유럽연합의 주제는 디지털 협력(Digital Cooperation)과 기후행동(Climate Action)입니다. 디지털 협력 세션은 한국어로 진행되며, 기후행동 세션은 영어로 진행됩니다. 모의유럽연합 대회는 유럽연합 이사회(Council of the European Union) 방식으로 진행됩니다.

모의유럽연합은 한-유럽연합 수교 60주년을 맞이하여 한국 소재의 모든 대학에서 참여자를 모집합니다. 다채로운 배경을 가진 다양한 학과 학생들의 참여를 통해 모의유럽연합은 '디지털 협력'과 '기후 행동'의 문제뿐만 아니라 유럽 연합에 대한 학생들의 인식과 이해를 향상시킬 것입니다. 대한민국 학생들을 위한 성공적인 모의유럽연합 행사를 준비하는데 많은 관심과 지원을 부탁드립니다.

The Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Korea is organizing a Model European Union (MEU) at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies on May 25-26, 2023 (Thursday-Friday). The MEU is a national conference where students discuss the main agenda of the European Union. The subjects of the MEU2023 are ‘Digital Cooperation’ for the session that will be held in Korean and; ‘Climate Action’ for the session that will be held in English. The MEU will simulate a Council of the European Union meeting.

As we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and the EU, we seek participants from all universities across Korea. 

To ensure an equal representation of students from different departments, with diverse backgrounds, we kindly ask for your cooperation in encouraging students from your institution to attend the MEU event as it would enhance their awareness and understanding of the European Union as well as the issues of ‘Digital Cooperation’, and ‘Climate Action’.
