교과목명/코드가 동일하나 부제가 다른 과목(2군교과목)을 재수강할 수 있습니다. 부제가 다르면 다른 과목으로 수강한 것으로 인정됩니다.

예시: 북한세미나(북한의 사회와 문화), 북한세미나(북한의 정치와 경제)

Q) I have previously taken a Group II course (a course with a subtitle). If I retake the same course with a different subtitle, would it be still possible to receive credit?

Students may retake graduate courses (designated as group II courses) which have numbers/titles that are identical but whose subtitles differ from each other. These courses are considered as separate and will allow students to earn distinct credits.

Example: Seminar in North Korea (Society and Culture in North Korea), Seminar in North Korea (Politics and Economy in North Korea)

신임교원 교수님 담당 예정으로, 학기 초 시스템에 반영될 예정입니다.  

Q) The instructor field is currently blank. Which professor will be in charge?

A newly appointed faculty member will be assigned, and this information will be updated in the system at the beginning of the semester.

Q) Where can I check the course information (syllabus, etc.) from past semesters?  

You can view detailed information on past semester courses by adjusting the search settings on the course registration website (click "Advanced Search (Past Semester)▼").

Q) 수강반 제한이 뭔가요?

수강반 제한이란 교과목 중 특정 대상(학과, 학년, 전공 등)만 수강신청이 가능하도록 하는 제도입니다.

수강예정 과목의 수강반제한 내용은 '강좌상세정보'의 '수강반' 내용을 확인하시기 바랍니다.

Q) What is a course section restriction?

A course section restriction is a system that allows only specific groups of students (e.g., by department, year, major) to register for certain courses.

To check the course section restrictions for your intended course, please refer to the "Course Restriction" details under "Course Details."

Q) 입학을 이미 했으나 휴학 등의 사유로 이전학기 성적이 전혀 없는 상태입니다. 이 경우 언제 수강신청해야 하나요?

이전학기 성적이 없는 학생의 경우 신입생으로 분류하므로, 신입생수강신청 기간을 이용하여 주시기 바랍니다.

Q) I have already been admitted, but due to a leave of absence or other reasons, I have no academic record from the previous semester. When should I register for courses?

Students with no academic record from the previous semester are classified as new students. Therefore, please register during the freshmen course registration period.

Q) 장바구니 신청을 하지 않았으면 선착순 수강신청이나, 수강신청변경기간에 수강신청할 수 없나요?

장바구니 신청을 하지 못한 경우에도 선착순 수강신청, 수강신청변경기간에 수강신청할 수 있습니다. 다만 선착순 수강신청 첫째 날에 한하여 장바구니 보류강좌로 표기된 강좌는 수강신청할 수 없습니다.

Q) If I did not add a course to my course cart, can I still register during the first-come, first-served registration or course change period?  

Yes, even if you did not add a course to your course cart, you can still register during the first-come, first-served registration and course change period. However, on the first day of the first-come, first-served registration, you cannot register for courses marked as "pending courses."

Q) 대학원 학생이 학부 수업을 수강하는 것이 가능한가요?

가능합니다. 학부 수업 수강을 위해 학과장님, 지도교수님의 승인을 받아 타대학원 이수승인신청서를 행정실에 제출해야 하며, 6학점 이내에서 대학원 과정 수료 학점으로 인정할 수 있습니다(박사생은 불가). 

Q) Would it be possible to take undergraduate courses?

Yes, in order to take undergraduate courses (MA students only), students must obtain approval from the chair of department and academic advisor and submit the Application for Recognition of Other Graduate School's/Undergraduate Course to the administrative office. Up to 6 credits can be counted toward the graduate requirements (*not applicable for doctoral students*).

Q) 예비수강신청하면 수강신청하지 않아도 되나요?

예비수강신청은 모의(연습용) 수강신청이며, 실제 수강신청은 반드시 별도로 해야합니다. 

Q) If I finished pre-course registration, is course registration still necessary?

Pre-course registration is only a mock (practice) registration. Actual course registration is necessary.

Q) I canceled my course registration, but I would like to take the course again. Can I withdraw the cancellation?

During the course change period, it is possible to re-register for a course if there are available seats after cancellation. However, please note that cancellations made after the course change period cannot be withdrawn. 

Q) 수강취소를 했는데 다시 해당 과목 수강을 희망합니다. 수강취소를 철회할 수 있나요?

수강신청 변경기간에는 수강취소 후 여석이 있는 과목의 경우 다시 수강신청이 가능합니다. 그러나 수강신청 변경기간 종료 후 이루어지는 수강취소는 철회가 불가능하니 유의하여 주시기 바랍니다. 

Q) Can I cancel my course registration only during the course change period? 

If a student deletes a course directly from the Course Registration Website - Course Registration List during the course change period, it will be canceled. After the course change period and until the midpoint of the semester, students must withdraw from courses exclusively through mySNU (Class/Grease-Class-Course Drop(Regular Semester) or Course Drop(Summer/Winter Session) in case of Winter/Summer session).

Q) 수강신청 취소는 수강신청변경기간에만 할 수 있나요?

수강신청 변경기간에 학생이 수강신청사이트-수강신청내역에서 교과목을 직접 삭제하면 취소됩니다. 수강신청 변경기간 이후부터 수업일수 1/2선까지 학생은 반드시 mySNU(학사정보-수업/성적-수업-정규학기수강취소(계절수업은 계절학기수강취소/환불)를 통해서만 수강취소할 수 있습니다.

Q) Can I cancel my course registration only during the course change period? 

If a student deletes a course directly from the Course Registration Website - Course Registration List during the course change period, it will be canceled. Q) 수강취소했을 때 성적증명서에 W로 표시되나요?

대내용(누적성적표)에는 수강취소한 교과목이 W(Withdrawal, 취소)로 표기되지만, 성적증명서에는 수강취소한 교과목의 성적이 표기되지 않습니다.

Q) Will my transcript show a 'W' if I withdraw from a course?

Courses withdrawn from will be marked as "W" (Withdrawal) on the internal cumulative academic record. However, they will not appear on the official transcript.

Q) 수강신청 변경기간에는 수강신청한 교과목을 바꾸기만 할 수 있나요?

수강신청을 기존에 전혀 하지 않으셨더라도, 새로운 교과목을 이 기간에 수강신청하실 수 있습니다. 수강신청했던 교과목을 삭제하거나, 다른 교과목을 수강신청할 수 있습니다.

Q) During the course change period, can I only change my registered courses?

Even if you have not registered for any courses previously, you can still register for new courses during this period. You may also delete previously registered courses or register for different ones.
