SNU-GSIS Africa DayA variety of academic and cultural events were held during the first SNU-GSIS Africa Day on September 13, Friday. Throughout the day, presentations by the Nigerian Ambassador, Prof. Taekyoon Kim, the Directors of African Region from KOICA and Hyundai Corporation and more, were followed by an African Cultural Performance, exhibitions of African Art and Movies, and an essay competition. All the money received through the lunch on Africa Day was donated to the World Food Programme (WFP).

2013 Fall Commencement CeremonyThe 2013 Fall commencement ceremony was held on August 29, 2013 at Sochon International Hall. At the ceremony, Dean Hwy-Chang Moon congratulated the students on their scholastic achievements at GSIS. He also expressed sincere gratitude to the donors for their generous contribution to the academic development and student aid at GSIS. In this regard, a token of appreciation was presented to Mr. Chul Ho Kim, a former Visiting Professor at GSIS. The commencement ceremony was culminated with the Valedictorian speech by Mr. Jin Wook Nam ('11 International Commerce).
