- Background
- Inequalities are considered a critical risk factor that harms a sustainable society and hopes of future generations
- Inequalities cannot be discussed only from the perspective of income and wealth, but they interact across the following issues: economic, political, social, cultural, environmental, spatial and knowledge (The World Social Science Report, 2016)
- In this context, CIFAL Jeju hosts its 15TH Youth Workshop to provide youth, the key players of the future generation with a space to discuss ways in which inequalities can be addressed for sustainable future. - Event Objectives
- Through a three-day training for domestic and foreign university students, we aim to provide an opportunity to move towards a sustainable future.
- In order to move towards a sustainable future, we aim to encourage young people with various nationalities to have a sense of community and partnership to address inequalities as global citizens. - Participants: undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in college/university in the Republic of Korea

- 1st Day: Lectures and discussion, Group work for action plan
- 2nd Day: Field visit, Group work for action plan
- 3rd Day: Final presentation on action plan

- 추진 배경
− 불평등은 사회의 지속가능성과 미래세대의 희망을 해치는 아주 중대한 위험요소임
− 불평등은 소득과 부의 관점에서만 논의될 수 없으며, 경제, 정치, 사회, 문화, 환경, 공간, 지식 영역 등 다양한 차원에서 상호작용하는 이슈임
− 이러한 맥락에서 지속가능한 미래로 나아가기 위한 주요 담론 중 하나인 불평등 해소를 위해 미래세대의 주역인 청년들이 모여 그 해소 방안을 논의하고, 실천의식과 역량을 배양하는 기회를 제공하고자 함 - 그룹 미션(안): 불평등 해소와 지속가능한 미래를 위한 청년의 역할 (Let’s take initiative to address inequalities for sustainable future!)
- 행사목적
− 국내·외 대학(원)생을 대상으로 집중적인 교육 및 수련을 통해 지속가능한 미래의 주역으로 나아갈 수 있는 계기를 마련하고자 함
− 지속가능한 미래로 나아가기 위해 다양한 국적의 청년들이 세계시민으로서 불평등해소를 위한 공동체의식과 파트너쉽을 갖도록 장려하고자 함 - 참가자 지원: 각 참가자에게 항공료 일부 정액지원(8 만원)*, 숙식, 기념품, 탐방료 등 행사 경비 전액 지원
* 단, 도내 거주자 또는 이에 준하는 참가자 제외 - 구성
- 1 일차: 입도, 개회식, 특강, 탐방일정, 그룹 토론
- 2 일차: 탐방 및 그룹 토론
- 3 일차: 토론 결과 발표, 수료식, 해산 - 지원 방법

- 2020 년 1 월 31 일(금) 합격자 개별 이메일 통보
- 참가자 선정결과 발표 후 참가비 3 만원 입금
