Journal of International Policy Solutions : CALL FOR PAPERS- SPRING 2015 EDITION

The Journal of International Policy Solutions is a graduate student-run annual publication of The
School of International Relations and Pacific Studies at the University of California, San Diego.
It features academic and research works related to contemporary international affairs, with an
emphasis on concrete policy recommendations.

We are now accepting submissions on a variety of topics in international affairs for our Winter
2015 edition. Graduate and professional students are encouraged to submit publishable manuscripts
addressing policy implications of, and solutions to, current international issues.

Special consideration will be given to submissions focusing on the following regions: Asia-Pacific,
Latin America and the Caribbean. However, submissions on all topics and concerning all regions are
welcome in the following formats:

PAPERS
PAPERS are feature-length pieces of original research, must include proper citations, and
should be between 3,000 to 6,000 words (excluding footnotes/bibliography).

ARTICLES
ARTICLES are essays exhibiting a clear and concise position on issues in the form of
editorials, recommendations, or reflections and should be between 750 to 1,500 words
(excluding footnotes/bibliography).

REVIEWS
REVIEWS are evaluations and reviews of relevant, existing arguments contained in essays, articles,
and books, and should be between 500 and 1,000 words.
