The 36th GLP Opening Ceremony held at International Conference Room of GSIS

The 36th batch of the Global Leadership Program (GLP) of Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) at Seoul National University (SNU) has just began, with the opening ceremony held in the International Conference room at GSIS on September 14th 2017. Included in this batch, are a total of forty CEOs and professionals of leading multi-national corporations, public enterprises, and small-medium enterprises in various fields. GLP is a long-established program at GSIS that has been ran for the last 18 years, since starting in November, 1999.

As the chief management program of GSIS, promoting sustainable development and strengthening the potential for successful 21st century global management, GLP is aiming to nurture global leaders with multi-dimensional perspectives and the ability to engineer innovative economic growth. The curriculum covers functional academic fields, area studies, and liberal arts in order to examine modern-day managerial environments through dynamic perspectives.

GLP lectures cover topics such as: 21st century global managerial environment, leadership, global business strategy, boosting marketing capability, analyzing global trends and market creation strategies, and Korean strategy in the global era. In addition, there are domestic and on-site workshops and special programs for networking.

Significantly, SNU GSIS is developing with internationally renowned faculty in multidisciplinary fields which combine international commerce, international cooperation, and area studies of Asia, America, Europe and Central-South America. Thus, it is expected that chief managers and board directors of corporations as well as educators, politicians, government officers, judicial officers, journalists, doctors, and accountants in high office, professionals in diverse fields of society, will cultivate global leadership to succeed in the global economic era.
