Gi-Wook Shin, Professor at Stanford University, gave a special lecture at GSIS on April 12th.
The title of his lecture was “One Alliance, Two Lenses: US-Korea Relations in a New Era.”
He began with a brief introduction on the US-Korea Relations entering the 21st century.
Then gave a very detailed analysis from his studies on how the US-Korea relations are seen
through the eyes of the Korean and US media from a time frame of ten years.
He emphasizes about policy issues, identity, and power.
